Something I love about Tumblr that you don’t really get on Reddit, is the brief flashes of fandoms I’m entirely unfamiliar with, like some large beast in the undergrowth.
Right now, it’s The Locked Tomb. Never even HEARD of it before coming here, but I see impressions of it everywhere. It’s like, teenagers wearing skeletons? Or something?

the thing is when people say a specific fanfic trope comes from supernatural they usually mean "it was invented by the supernatural fandom in a fanfic". on the other hand, when people say a specific fanfic trope comes from star trek, they mean "it was the plot of at least one star trek episode"

hey locked tomb enjoyers, should I push through and finish this? I've been re-reading the series and was hit with this idea to do Harrow finding the girl in the tomb like the painting "Sleeping beauty" by Edward Frederick Brewtnall but I am now second-guessing if it's a worthy endeavour.
